Creating wildlife habitats in the garden
Sunday 15th May 10.30am-1pm
We will be making bee hotels, hoverfly lagoons and earwig houses. This session will be
educating children and adults about which bees live in bee hotels and how they benefit the
garden, who are the hoverflies and what are hoverfly lagoons and why earwigs are so
beneficial to the garden.
Learning about ponds Sunday 12th June 10.30am-1pm
We will be installing three small ponds onsite so this session will be for children and adults to learn about who lives in ponds and how they benefit wildlife? As well as the ponds we will be creating habitats for frogs, toads, and newts who live in woodpiles and under stones for much of their lives.
