- Fortnightly WorkshopsJan - May 2021Teaching children about growing food and the natural worldOak trees are dependent on that loud chattering bird, the Jay, to bury their acorns some way away so the young oak trees aren’t shaded out by their mother tree. This and other amazing facts about the natural world will be engaging local children in a series of free interactive online workshops.
Upcoming Events
@Liz Cuttings
We have suspended our face to face workshops and large group gardening events, in acknowledgement of the potential risk from the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) outbreak. Our main priority is the health and safe being of our wonderful volunteers.
We are planning to deliver further community workshops online via the Zoom video conferencing technology - please watch this space for more details.
The garden is still of course there for people to enjoy on an individual/family basis, and you are all encouraged to get some fresh air and sunshine.
-
It is important that you maintain social distancing in the community garden when coming across members of the public.
-
Exercise the hygiene measure of washing hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds when returning home from a visit to Northwick Park Community Garden.
-
Refer to and comply with published advice from the NHS and GOV.UK
We hope everyone stays well, and that we will soon be able to meet up again as usual.
