Susannah Hall (permaculture garden expert) demonstrated how to make plant tea fertiliser from nettles, which we collected from the Ducker path. Nettles are a great source of nutrients and minerals, especially nitrogen which are released if nettles are soaked in a bucket of water for about a month. This liquid is a natural fertiliser which can be diluted to water the base of the plant to support its growth. Be warned though, it stinks!
